Ended up being labeled as "post-infectious IBS" which means that I now have IBS from being sick, I know the start/cause was my illness, which wrecked my gut/intestinal function, and IBS is diagnosed after everything else is ruled out. I almost wished it was something more concrete so I could "fix" it. I can deal with it now, it's much better than before, but stress, hormones, etc. make it worse. It's been going on 2 years - all from getting the @$*!! flu! Anyway, thought I'd share since I know these issues can be a nightmare to deal with.. Good luck!
